Ideal climate

The climate in southern Portugal, with more than 3,000 hours of sunshine and more than 300 rain-free days, is amongst the most pleasant in Europe. Mid winter the average temperature is still 16 degrees, in summer the temperature goes up to around 29 degrees Celsius.

As the summer heat is tempered by a fresh sea breeze, also then it is nice to stay. The weather is wonderful all year, with as outliers the months May, June, September and October. Then the climate is at its best.
